Ward 2 is Saint-André-LeBlanc which accounts for approximately 486 people and about 8% of the total population. M. Gilles Cormier is the councillor of this Ward.  M. Louis LeBlanc was councillor of this Ward from 2008 to 2010. Donald Cormier (1995) and Daniel Mongeau (1998 and 2001) had the task prior to Mr. LeBlanc. Formerly known by the name of Saint-André of Shediac, the colonization of this Ward dates back to 1837. In little time, the citizens had already accumulated important assets in farming and in real estate. This region also welcomed several Acadians during the 70’s for events such as Frolics. The main economic activities in this region include agriculture, forestry and cattle farms. L’Association des loisirs de Saint-André-LeBlanc Office plays an important role in this community, because they are responsible for managing the local community center. This Ward also has several natural attractions such as Square Lake, Poucette Lake, Tédiche River and the Butte à Napoléon.  Saint-André-LeBlanc is also the birth place of a former professional baseball player, Rhéal Cormier, and of Monseigneur Valérie Vienneau, Archbishop of the Bathurst Diocese.
