Many volunteers cleaned in Beaubassin-est

The Beaubassin-est Rural Community would like to thank all the volunteers who participated in the Community Clean-up Day on Saturday, May 27th. Despite the rain, groups of volunteers were able to clean several areas.

In Botsford, a dad, his son and a few friends decided to do some cleaning on Portage Road. In Cormier-Village, the members of the joint committee of the Cultural Center and the Golden Age Club cleaned up in various parts of the community.

In Grand-Barachois, residents cleaned up on Cap-Bimet Road, Pointe-aux-bouleaux Road, Job Road, Bois-Joli Road, Pointe-à-Nicet Road, as well as parts of Route 133 and Route 933. And in Boudreau West, a group of citizens cleaned up the Cap-Brûlé Road, including the alleys and the beach.

Some groups chose not to do the cleaning last Saturday because of the bad weather, but they will still do it when it’s warmer, like the beach at the Robichaud Wharf. Other people were not available on Saturday but they did their share in the past few weeks or even on Sunday, and we want to thank everybody for their participation.
